Static Aircraft

Somewhere in the Raf Collection preamble it states that the Static Aircraft are removable,  but I cannot work out how this is done. Particularly the Nimrod parked in front of the QRA sheds at Leuchars. I have the Fs9 version installed

Hi Dave,

In the RAF_Collection\Scenery folder, you'll find a bunch of files called Statics_FS...<airfield name>.BGL

If you just change the .BGL to something else (eg .OLD or .OFF or .OFFBGL ...) then it will disable the static aircraft for the airfield you want. Rename back to BGL to re-enable the statics.

Thanks I'll give that a try. I just thought I would thank you for the Raf Collection. I was Stationed at both Kinloss and Leuchars during the 60's through to the ealry 80's. I now live 2 miles from Leuchars so I've seen great changes in the place since I left. Your scenery is nothing short of remarkable, again many thanks.
