EGPI Islay and Horizon 5 metre mesh
« on: February 20, 2021, 06:25:55 am »
I am using the Horizon 5 metre mesh with ORBx TrueEarth GB North (because a 20 metre mesh for Scotland is really not good enough), and I am having a problem with the new version of EGPI Islay. Obviously this has been designed to work with the 20 metre mesh, so I was hoping that using the CVX file included in the Scotflight Photo package would work (since that was designed to be compatible with the 5 metre mesh). However, this does not seem to work. The airport is still sitting on a noticeable platform in those areas close to the sea.

Is there a solution for this?

Hi

I would say you need to create a fresh flatten for the airfield that is then blended to match the surrounding terrain,  at the same time excluding any other airport background.
